How do you walk along a road?

Oxford is the city which has inspired many famous writers and works of fiction like Alice by Lewis Caroll, Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling and The Lord of The Rings by Tolkien. These characters can blink to you from every corner of the city. Sometimes, in the window of a building, or by a fountain or in a cafe. Every time I saw Alice while I was walking around Oxford, I always remembered that scene.
⠀⠀
One day Alice finds herself at a crossroads. She looks at the roads in front of her and gets confused. At that time, she sees a cat on a tree and asks him;

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?
Cat says: “That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.
“I don’t much care where.” says Alice
And the cat says; “Then it doesn’t much matter which way you go”⠀⠀

Do you sometimes feel like Alice? Some moments when you don’t know where you want to go? Moments you forgot why you’re on the road? Moments when you feel lost or tired?

What would you do then? How would you decide which way to take? Have you seen a cat or a rabbit to ask? ⠀⠀

Sometimes we think, “Let me go somewhere and the rest will come. ”I don’t know where to go, but I want to go..”⠀

Sometimes the road is so obvious in front of us and we just follow these paths. We can’t even think about that, different options can be possible. We’re locked up where we’re going, so we can miss out the other roads. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

However, in each story, the hero goes on a journey, often on this adventure without knowing the way. The road opens in front of him as he walks.

As Oruç Aruoba says; “The person on the road can only know where he can reach by walking, crossing the road and arriving — the road,  is not known without walking”

”Is he right really? The Journey Matters More Than the Destination? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
